
Velocity Partners founder Kerry Shields is an experienced Executive with leadership skills that span nearly every aspect of the Supply Chain with a sharp focus on delivering outstanding results, supporting bottom line growth all while developing a world class organization.
Outside of work, Kerry is passionate about being outdoors and exercise. He can be found road biking along the coast of Rhode Island and snow skiing in the mountains of Vermont. Kerry cherishes his time spent at home or traveling abroad with his wife Carrie and supporting his four children in their adult lives.

Known for his ability to quickly turn performance around and develop a strategy that resonates throughout the business, Kerry has 3 decades of experience leading world-class Supply Chain organizations. Through his hands-on approach to problem-solving, Kerry has been able to build robust processes across the End-To-End Supply Chain as well as start-up Go To Market systems in New York City for the first time in the company’s history in his leadership roles with Frito-Lay, Inc. Kerry’s leadership of revenue growth shown through during the acquisition and integration of the PopCorners brand into the PepsiCo family as the brand double revenue in year 1 of acquisition ($100M to $200M in annual revenue). In his time leading the Quaker Foods North America business, Kerry quickly developed an End-To-End Supply Chain strategy and led the modernization of the Supply Chain through CAPEX plans, leadership development execution, and enterprise-wide data & analytics.
